Comments

Mike A chap doesn't often win after having a bankrupt and train-less company dumped on him, so hurrah for me. There is a certain smug satisfaction there; and another small pleasure in getting the NYC to the magic $350 share value in the final OR. Lest the smugness seem excessive I will confess that I was lucky in the way things panned out. I had the game in the bag, and very nearly threw it away with a bit of typical carelessness (and yes I fear I am getting worse with age), but the timings and state of the networks allowed me to ride-out the hit and come back strongly. There was a deal of nastiness in this game - which is not a complaint - the cut-throat nature of things and the ability of the pack to pull-down a leader are what keeps me playing 1830 after all these years. Commiserations to David who ran me close, and to John and Tony for staying the course long after their chances were dust, and of course my particular thanks to Rob for running the game immaculately as always.
David Congratulations on Mike on his come-from-behind win and thanks to Rob for running the game. Having to sell several shares last SR to get under the limit really hurt.
Tony Like a herring swimming with a sea-full of sharks ... what a ruthless bunch of players!!
GM I enjoyed that - thank you and congratulations to all involved!
